ABOUT ME
I am dedicated to healing work and to heightening awareness of trauma-informed approaches in healthcare and education.
I became a Duke-Certified Health & Well-Being Coach in 2022, though I have been developing my coaching skills since 2011. Working with me, you will receive the benefit of what I have learned and will have the opportunity to articulate challenges, values, hopes, and fears in a safe and supportive space.
I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease as a child, which now offers me particular experience with type 1 diabetes, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, and the impacts of these conditions on mind and body. I received my doctorate degree in Adult Education from North Carolina State University, and my Masters degree in Human Development and Family Studies at The University of North Carolina—Greensboro. I am based in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
I look forward to hearing about your interest in partnering with me in your journey of personal discovery and wellness.
